Here at Baker's Golden Dairy, we give back to the community in many ways... In 2017 and 2018, we decided to hold a 5K run/walk here on the farm and proceeds would go towards two scholarships for two high school students pursuing their degree in the Ag Industry. Although, due to covid we have not had a 5K recently, we still would like to do our scholarship for 2022! If you know anyone who qualifies, please let them know!
2022 BGD Scholarship applications
PURPOSE: -- to provide scholarships for a high school student pursuing their degree in agriculture.
SCHOLARSHIP AMOUNT: $250 qty (2)
ELIGIBILITY: Applicant must be pursuing a degree in Agriculture Applicant must be considered a full-time student. Applicant must maintain at least a B or 3.0 grade point average. Applicant must be a high school senior.
REQUIREMENTS: Applicant must provide a completed application. Applicant must prove enrollment, or submit a letter of admission, to a two or four year institution of higher learning or graduate school. Applicant must include two (2) letters of reference (someone other than immediate family). Applicant must include an official high school transcript.
APPLICATION DUE DATE: Must be postmarked or dropped off at BGD by April 15th!
